Silid Aklatan is a Tagalog word for Library.According to Oxford dictionary, 'it is a place where books are kept for safekeeping to use or borrow'.It is more than a place to keep and borrow books,it is more than an airconditioned place.As I always say,we,librarians do more than just buying and shelving books.I will share as much as I can the ins and outs of my library displays,activities and many more..feel free to drop a comment.It's a NO RIGHT NO WRONG rule, message me away...
I got this concept from another school librarian in UK. She was so kind to share it with us so Im sharing it with you with. I just made a little modification and a different heading "Ever wonder how quiet is quiet?", using MS Word.
